Working from Home in a Post Pandemic World

Working remotely was never an option before COVID-19 hit in 2020. Now, in 2023, 40% of United States workers still work from home at least once a week. Although these numbers are incomparable to those from 2020, there are still remote work opportunities in every corner across the nation.

The United States leads most of the world in work from home opportunities, largely valuing this culture that the pandemic created. This is mainly because there are benefits for both employees and employers through this model, allowing businesses to thrive in the digital age. Employees in a remote work model save time, money, and energy by staying home. This also allows for a greater work/life balance, using this free time to spend personally or with friends and family. Employers also see great benefits from the remote work model. Because employees are able to enjoy work more flexibly, companies see less absences from work, more productivity, and even lower turnover rates.

The interest is abundant for remote work, with many wanting to continue to capitalize on the flexibility that this model has to offer. This is only possible with the proper tools, such as strong connectivity platforms and IT tools. Technological advancement is not showing any signs of slowing down, driving the culture of work to follow suit.
